Fungus Slipover V-neck PDF english version
Fungus Slipover V-neck is a feminine drop shoulder slipover with a wide ribbed band around the neck and down the V-neck.
The slipover has a beautiful Moss stich pattern doubled in the height.
You will start out this slipover by knitting a ribbed neckband. After knitting this neckband you will pick up stiches for the yoke in this neckband and you will then knit the yoke and the rest of the band together.
The slipover is being knitted back and forth until the whole for the sleeves has the correct length and you will gather your work and then knit in the round.
The slipover is knitted top down which makes it easy to adjust the length on the body.
The slipover is meant to have a positive ease on 10-25 cm, depending on how oversized you like your slipover to be. You might want to choose a larger size, than you usually do for an oversized look.
The slipover is constructed so that the shoulder stiches should appear on the back piece and not on top of the shoulder – this gives an elegant fit.

If you choose to knit your slipover in two different colors held together as I did, you will have to choose the biggest amount of yarn mentioned in your size.
The pictured version is a size S and has a positive ease on 25 cm – the model’s bust measurement is 84 cm and usually pick size XS.
The slipover is knitted up in two strands of Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive in the color Brown Nougat.
You will also need 6 stitch markers knitting this slipover – 2 of the stitch markers will need to be able to open as a safety pin.
The slipover is knitted in Moss stitch doubled in the height - to begin with back and forth, later in the round on circular needle 80-100 cm, 4 mm using two strands of Soft Silk Mohair.
I recommend double pointed needles for the neckband - you will need 3.
I also recommend using 2 circular needles 4 mm – then when having to let stitches resting, you will be able to leave these stitches on your needle while continue knitting with the other one. But it will also work letting your stitches resting on a thread or a wire for stitches.
20 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm on needle size 4 in Moss stitch doubled in the height.
