Description

Cor Sweater Variation is a feminine seamless yoke sweater with a simple structure-pattern made from switching between purl and knit stitches.

The sweater is knit top down, so you can easily adjust the length at both body and sleeves.

By knitting short rows, the neckline is slightly higher at the back.

I recommend using the Italian cast on and the Italian bind off method for this sweater, but you might as well choose other methods.

I also recommend using the Magic Loop method for knitting the start of the sweater and the sleeves so that you will need fewer needles to knit this sweater.

The sweater is supposed to be worn with approx. 0-10 cm of positive ease.

Materials

150 (150) 175/200 (200) 225/250 g of Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive 225 m/25 g or any other Silk Mohair quality held double.

If you choose to knit your slipover in two colors held together as I did, you will have to choose the biggest amount of yarn mentioned in your size.

The pictured sweater is knit using Soft Silk Mohair in the color Wheat, and Oat held. I am wearing a size XS with app. 10 cm of positive ease in the picture.

Remember to keep the right gauge when using other yarn than suggested!

You will need 1 stitch marker to knit this sweater.

Recommended needles

The sweater is knit in stockinette stitch in the round on circular needle size 4.5 mm (40 cm and 80 cm) with two strands of Silk Mohair.

All ribbed hems are knit on circular needles 3.5 mm (40 and 80 cm).

If you use the Magic Loop technique you will only need the 80 cm circular needle in both sizes.

Gauge

18 sts x 26 rounds in stockinette stitch on circular needle size 4.5 mm with two strands of Silk Mohair = 10 x 10 cm.
