Description 
Linea Top Variation is a light and airy summer top with wide ribbed straps and a delicate vertical line pattern. The pattern is formed by knitting in the round in stockinette stitch (knit) interrupted by chain stitch rows - the smooth side of your stockinette stitch is on the back of this top and the delicate chain stitch rows are on the front.
 
The top starts with a ribbed edge band that is knitted together before stitches are picked up in it for the body of the top. Then the body is knitted in the pattern until it is finished with an I-Cord edge. Stitches are then picked up for the shoulder straps in the transverse ribbed edge band. The top is knitted from top to bottom, making it easy to adjust the length.

Body length measured from underarm: approx. 37 (38) 40 (41) 42 (42) 42 (42) cm including the transverse ribbed edge band.
 
The top should have a positive ease of 0-10 cm. The model in the picture has a bust measurement of approx. 84 cm and is wearing size XS.
 
Materials
150 (150) 200 (200) 200 (250) 250 (250) g Pure Silk from Knitting for Olive (250 m/50 g) or similar silk quality. The top in the picture is knitted in Pure Silk from Knitting for Olive in the color Wheat.
 
You can choose a different yarn than the one specified if you maintain the gauge, but make sure to choose a slightly firm yarn with some stability and weight, for example, another silk quality or Alpaca Summer Yarn from Uld La La.
 
In addition to yarn, you will need 3 stitch markers.
 
Recommended needles
The top is knitted in stockinette stitch interrupted by chain stitches around on circular needle 3 mm (80 cm) with 1 strand of Pure Silk. The I-Cord edge at the bottom of the body is also knitted on size 3 mm needles. 
 
The transverse ribbed edge band is knitted on size 3 mm needles - double-pointed needles are recommended. 
 
The shoulder straps are knitted in rib on size 2.5 mm needles - double-pointed needles are recommended.
 
Gauge
24 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on size 3 mm needles in the pattern.
